The text on this website has been written with simple English with as little jargon as possible. Some of our pages feature technical language where no simpler alternative is available.

Website Accessibility Standards

This website was designed to comply with the W3C accessibility guidance. It was tested against Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA standard, with exceptions listed below, and is regularly reviewed where new content is added. These guidelines recommend things like alternative text for images, a defined heading on each page and a sensible tab order for using the keyboard to navigate.

Hearing Loop

All of our branches have a hearing loop installed. These devices use magnetic induction to send sound to a hearing aid, which improves the sound quality when discussing with our receptionists. Please ask or point to the hearing loop device if you wish to use it during your encounter with our team.

Text Relay

The text relay service can translate text-to-speech, and speech-to-text, when you contact us by phone. You can call us using Relay UK and a trained advisor will type out what our receptionist says.

Facilities

All of our surgeries are fitted with wheelchair accessible doors and fire exits. There is at least one wheelchair accessible toilet in all of our surgeries. Our helpful team are trained to provide some assistance where required.
