Our main focus at Larwood Health Partnership is positive patient outcomes. A large part of that is listening to what our patients want from their practice, and working out how we did that. We get a lot of suggestions and do our best to accommodate them. Frequently Asked Questions

​

We have recently had a couple of suggestions from patients that information could be clearer and more accessible on our website. We know we have a lot of information on here and agreed that it could be condensed into a section with some common questions. We therefore put together our Frequently Asked Questions page, which gives answers when you need them quickly.

We're also working on a questionnaire tool, which will guide you to the correct course of action, but more will be released on that closer to the time.

Late Nights and Saturdays

We recently held a patient survey asking what people want more of at our practice. Overwhelmingly, the responses were more accessible appointments, either because they work or have other commitments during our normal appointment hours. 

​

We have therefore extended our appointment times until 20:00 every weekday, and we have increased our opening hours on Saturday from 09:00 - 17:00. Please click here to check our Opening Hours page to find out which of our five surgeries is open on what day.

Face to Face, Telephone, Video Consultations

​

Our patients have also told us that they want appointments in ways which work for them. Many of our patients have said they would prefer face to face appointments, so we have expanded our range of available appointments with all clinicians. Others say telephone or video consultations work better for them to reduce travel. We have tried to achieve a good mix of different appointment types so that there's something for everyone.

Website Improvements

We've made several improvements to our website. We've added a link to SystmOnline in the footer, we have improved some of the colours to improve readability, we have improved usability with dark mode extensions on popular browsers, and generally improved the look and feel of our website.
