We're trialling messaging in the NHS App!

The NHS App is a useful app available for Android and Apple devices which allows you to manage your healthcare securely at a time convenient to you. In addition to messages, you can order your repeat prescriptions, see your test results and book appointments. This is a pilot scheme which does not include every type of message, so you will still receive some via text message. If the app cannot deliver the message, you will receive a text message instead. At this early stage, you cannot reply to messages through the App, but this is a feature that may be available in the future. If you want to opt out and keep your messages to text message only, you can do so in the app settings. If you do not yet have the app, why not give it a try?
