Veterans Support

Larwood Health Partnership is proud to be a RCGP Accredited Veteran Friendly Practice. We have a Clinical Lead for veterans, Dr Penney, who has undertaken additional training on how best to support veteran patients and their families. We ask patients when they register if they are a veteran so that we can record it on their medical record. Bassetlaw District Council have developed a helpful guide full of information for veterans, which can be found on their website. This contains links to support services, advice on joining the civilian workforce after leaving the forces and help navigating the services provided by the council and government.
